I seriously can't sit still when I hear "Pump It Up" by Elvis Costello. It helps that I always think of Ben Affleck badly dancing to it in "200 Cigarettes."

The "Oneders" became Fountains Of Wayne.

Brian, thanks -- I actually knew that the Wonders "became" Fountains of Wayne. "I wonder what happened to the Oneders," is my favorite line from That Thing You Do!

Wow, some of you get happy listening to kind of downer songs.
I like:
Something So Strong - Crowded House
Groove is in the Heart - Deeelite
Is There Something I Should Know? - Duran Duran
Girls Like Me - Bonnie Hayes & the Wild Combo (can be found on volume 2 of the Valley Girl soundtrack, which is a happy compilation CD all on its own)

I don't understand how an X-Phile could find "Beyond the Sea" anything but terrifying. :)

90's trivial pusuit last night.
Question: blah blah blah ...Who won something with the song "Buddy Holly" in 199x?
Answer: Weezer.
I never knew Weezer's Buddy Holly song was so ingrained with American culture...I'll have to listen to it someday.

I started my day this morning with:
Sexxlaws - Beck
New York City - They Might Be Giants
Common People - Pulp
Lifted my mood perfectly for a Monday morning. Also, this guy on Australian Idol sang The Glory of Love last night. It's not really a track you can dance to, but bloody hell it makes you giggle.
